Your sport or fitness activity: Strength Training, Running and Golf

What is your proudest fitness accomplishment? Training a young woman who lost 21.4% body fat. She had been heavy all of her life due to dealing with much death in her family. I was able to help motivate her to transform her body and change her lifestyle.

What motivates you? Knowing that I am bettering the lifestyle of my client’s lives and seeing how happy they are for it. Also keeping myself in shape makes me feel younger and keeps me active.

What’s on your nightstand? You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life by Jen Sincero, American College of Sports Medicine’s Health & Fitness Journal.

What do you like to do in your downtime? I enjoy boating, volunteering for Delivering Hope, and hanging with family and friends.

Best thing about living in RI: Rhode Island is a great location for boating. There are so many beautiful New England destinations in Greenwich Bay, Newport, Block Island, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. It is also relatively easy to travel to Boston or New York.

One thing people don’t know about you: I have a fear of deep water.

Fitness tip for RI Fit Readers: DON’T GIVE UP! We all have struggles in our lives and there may be times we just don’t feel like exercising. It doesn’t mean you have to quit! Just get back into it and keep going!
