Events you are training for: Bold R Dash, Other awareness fitness runs and bodybuilding competitions in spring.

What is your proudest fitness accomplishment? The biggest fitness accomplishment would have to be getting to the level I am today. I had a major car accident year ago, where I broke my pelvis, shoulder and lacerating my liver. Years later, I am able to work out to a level I am able to heal my pains. Being able to continue riding my horse, locally compete in horse shows and bodybuilding competitions, as well as help others on their fitness journey. That part has been the most rewarding.

What motivates you? Embodying the true athletic spirit, and knowing what I do motivates younger generations.

Favorite cheat meal/snack: Pizza and m & m’s

What do you like to do in your down time? Ride my horse Rira and hit the gym to distress.

Best thing about living in RI: The best part of living in the Ocean state, it’s just so diverse. You can hit the beach anytime you want, hit the Upper East Side for some great food. You are able to take a mini vacation at any time, without really leaving the state. It’s the best of both worlds.

One thing people don’t know about you: I work full time in IT. Most people would guess either I work with horses or in the fitness industry.

Fitness tip for RI Fit Readers: Fitness is not so cut and dry, try a new sport, activity and never be afraid to fail. You don’t have to be a gym 100% of the time to get the results you want. Everything in moderation.
